Your character: Name: Ànveena Race: Cow Level & Class: 85 Shaman Played Time (/played) (Both for your current level and total): 70 days on this, total of all characters around 460 days. Professions: JC/Ench (not maxed yet, need to work on that) Your real life age: 21 Your name and nationality (share if you like ): Kevin, I'm Belgian WoW in general: Any references? People you know who are in Excession/met in-game (and tell them to post after your application to convince us ): I've met some people by accident in Orgrimmar, 2 players talking about Firelands and I was looking for a guild anyway at the time so I thought let's just ask for progress and the general stuff. I'm not quite sure about the names anymore since it was late and just came after a BBQ so yeah. It was a Shaman and a Priest or something? Your previous guilds in WoW: Long list here it goes Vanilla-end of TBC: Beyond Insanity - Silvermoon EU WotLK: Naxx-ToTGC: Ronin - Kor'gall EU ICC/RS: Aeternus - Dragonblight EU Cataclysm: T11: Solar Wind - Dragonblight EU Your reasons for leaving those guilds: BI - They fell appart during the summer break, people went on holidays, raids didn't continue, and migration went open to a new realm, which meant all horde left the realm instantly. Silvermoon was already horde-dead, it was more dead after that went open. Ronin - After progression I needed a break for uni and later, a month or so, when I came back my spot as Shaman was taken, so I rolled Paladin on a new realm, trolled around with friends in pugs (pugs as in, a mix of the 3 realm 1st guilds), they tried to recruit me since I was a good healer and had better gear than most mains. But I declined however (even now I don't understand why I did but ok lol). I migrated to Dragonblight and started in Aeternus. Aeternus - After LK HC 25 got killed things went backwards the 3 months after that. People started leaving due to frustration and the amount of QQ in raids and guild in general was killing the atmosphere. I also decided to take my leave, I didn't see any future there anymore. Solar Wind - The guild got an 'air' or ego as we say, after killing Sinestra, there's a group of underaged kids that think of themselves as team bossen, after getting realm 1st 25man on all stuff they just ruined it all by thinking they're the best etc... Result? People left and so did I. Atmosphere went from relax and good to annoying and bad. Currently they're behind on even casual guilds just due to that. Sort the following activities in the order of your preference: - PvE - Leveling Alts - Crafting/Harvesting - PvP Tell us something about yourself (impress us! We like people with a good sense of humor): I'm Kevin, 21 years old from Belgium, I currently have a life since I have a girlfriend, so less WoW, more life (used to raid 7 days out of 7 18-02 so yeah figures). In my spare time I play WoW, either by leveling alts or doing random stuff, such as farming old crap or getting achievements. My achievement bot is my DeathKnight, which is my lovable charr nr1 next to my Shaman. Healing has always been my nature, on all my healing tunes, however, my DK is something special, there aren't much DK's out there that can push the same DPS as mine, or overall play in general. Your reasons for wanting to join us/ambitions as a player (hardcore raider/casual raider/casual player/pvp player): Hardcore/Casual I'd say, since I probably can't raid ALL the time anymore with the girlfriend up my sleeve. But when I have time and when I play, I do it good. For those who apply as raiders: Spec you will be raiding as: Restoration Your offspec (if you think it to be useful): Elemental Gear Link (from official wow-armory site or from other sites that evaluate your gear): http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/k ... a/advanced Former experience in end game raiding (including classic/tbc/wotlk): Vanilla - None TBC: Since it's a long list I'll just list the incomplete ones if that's ok? Kael'thas/Vashj Post-Attunement Nerf Black Temple: 5/12 Hyjal: 4/5 Sunwell: 0 Wotlk: All done, all on heroicmode aswell pre-next raid. (includes Yogg0 and Algalon pre-ToTGC and ofcourse, LK 25 HC Realm First) Cataclysm: So far only Council HC not done and since I quit Solar Wind I haven't raided any of fireland, only did Beth'Tilac in a PuG, which was fairly easy imo. Your raiding availability (Do you have school/work that can sometimes get in the way of raiding?): I'm done with school, currently looking for a job, so at some point I'm moving in with my girlfriend so that might cause a delay from me. Please write down how frequent you can attend the raids at the following days and which times at those days you are able to raid: Monday: Thursday: Sunday: Let's put it short, I play from 9am to 1-2am every day unless I have different obligations to attend. So yes I can make these days, but if the girl says no, it'll be no. We will use Ventrillo as means of communications during raids. Are you able to use it? I have it installed and ready, but I'm not much of a speaker. I like to post my ideas on the forums more or whisper my thoughts. Are you able/willing to re-spec to appropriate PvE-specs for guild raids (yes/no)? Sure. Extra Info: (isn't from the form) Right, I know this sounds wierd, having this guy applying to a raidspot in a guild that's below what he can do, but honestly, like I stated above, I don't have the time anymore to raid fully hardcore like I did in the past, if I had I'd be in my friend's guild Numen - Talnivarr EU, so that's why I'd really like to join. I'd be a good addition to your raiding team, I learn faster than you can imagine, I'm also the best at my class and role, I've been healing for ages on ALL classes so I know what I can expect and know how to play all of them (not all at the same level but most at least). I'm not a person who likes to delay the raid in the meaning that I'd need tactics explained, I absolutely hate this, it's a waste of time. Trials are there to prove themselves, not to be taught how to do this and that, because that delays the guild in general. I'm one that's used to raid addon-less and tactic-less, the way we did bosses as first was to check debuffs and move from the bad stuff and do the 'obvious'. Ofcourse I use addons and such but I don't really need bossmods, I can live without. Perhaps you'd be interested to see my previous characters as I mentioned them, I'll link them: Holy Paladin: http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/d ... l/advanced Resto Druid: http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/d ... D/advanced Holy Priest: http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/d ... D/advanced DeathKnight: http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/d ... i/advanced Hunter: http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/k ... e/advanced At this point, I like my Shaman and DK best, I've always liked my DK best tbh but healing is what I do best, never tried to apply as a DK before. I just like my DK because of all the mounts and achievements, tho I miss Mimiron's head (Paladin has it!) and Invincible and the ToTGC Immortal mounts. And ofcourse a few titles. |

Perhaps I forgot to add this: My alts are leveled just for guild purposes, some encounters required a different setup, this wasn't always possible so I had alts ready and geared for the guild's needs. Example was ToTFW, Conclave Heroic. We had a tank on holiday so our Kiter had to tank, we had nobody else who could do it so I logged my DeathKnight and did it for 3 weeks. Hence the belt it has. |

Played my Paladin for a long time now, and spamming the same button over and over again is quite boring after a few years believe me. Alright we do have cooldowns etc but since Cata hit they stole most of them anyway. Which made Paladin imo much worse gameplay than it used to be. I've been bored healing on my Paladin ever since the changes to the class at the end of WotLK, but my current guild back then (aeternus) wouldn't let me roll my DK, nor would Solar Wind, so I was forced to heal as Paladin to continue raiding. Hope this answers your questions, if anything is unclear, ask ahead. |

The empty glyph slot is the minor one, not much useful I can put in there anyway, so I leave it empty, don't feel like spending 200g to a glyph I won't ever use. About the blues: Shield/Bracer/Neck: none of these I can get from ZA/ZG for healers Headpiece: uptill now, did tons of runs in ZA, but only 1 dropped and got ninjad by some hunter which is pretty sad... Ever since that day I haven't seen it drop. |

Zul'Gurub Jin'do the Godbreaker: Zulian Ward: DPS Shield, contains no spirit. Drops no bracer. Craftables: Ofcourse I can make one, but I was more hoping I could get a drop in BWD but I haven't seen many good pugs around lately, which is quite crap. I used to craft the shield for my Paladin but that was when I started raiding day 2 of cataclysm when every item counted. |
